Guidewire Software Wins First Place Vanguards in Insurance Practices (VIP) Award Recognition in the Insurance Core Solutions Category

FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2014-- Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE:GWRE), a provider of software products for Property/Casualty (P/C) insurers, today announced that it has received a 2014 Vanguards in Insurance Practices (VIP) Award in the Insurance Core Solutions category. The VIP Awards are sponsored by Insurance Networking News (INN) in partnership with Celent and were announced and presented at the recent Insurance Analytics Symposium in New Orleans. Winners were determined by insurance company professionals through their participation in an online survey where they were asked to name technology providers that deliver the most value in various VIP categories. Guidewire also received second place recognition in the Back Office Solutions and Customer Experience Solutions categories. In addition, Guidewire PartnerConnect Alliance member EY (Ernst & Young LLP) and Affiliate member Cognizant won the two Strategic Partner VIP Awards. Guidewire customers Citizens Property Insurance received a first place INN VIP Technology Best Practices Award, and CAA Insurance Company (CAA) was recognized with an honorable mention VIP Best Practices Award. CAA was also acknowledged for its excellence in analytics.
