Australian insurer modernizes systems with Guidewire Core, Data, and Digital products

SYDNEY & FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar. 23, 2016-- QBE Insurance Australia, a division of global insurer QBE Insurance Group, and Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE:GWRE), a provider of software products to P/C insurers, today announced the Australian insurer has successfully deployed Guidewire core processing, data and analytics, and digital engagement products to adapt its business for success in today’s rapidly-changing insurance marketplace. Guidewire PartnerConnect^TMPremier member, Ernst & Young in Australia, facilitated the implementation.

QBE Australia deployed Guidewire InsuranceSuite^TM, Rating Management, and Client Data Management as its new platform for underwriting, rating, policy administration, claims, billing, and client data management. Guidewire DataHub^TM and InfoCenter are now supporting their direct insurance data management and business intelligence needs. Additionally, the company leveraged Guidewire Quote and Buy Portal for Policyholders^TM to offer self-service quoting capability to consumers.
