Guidewire Software Names New CEO

John Raguin, Company Co-Founder, Becomes Chief Executive Officer

SAN MATEO, CA, June 29, 2007:

Guidewire Software®, a leading global provider of technology solutions to Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance companies, today announced that John Raguin, a Guidewire co-founder will assume the role of chief executive officer.

As CEO, John Raguin will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations and future direction of Guidewire Software. John is a co-founder of Guidewire; has served in a number of leadership positions over the last five years, and has been instrumental in leading the company into a market leadership position. Over the last two years, John established and grew Guidewire’s operations in the EMEA and Asia-Pacific markets while playing a primary role in all international sales and business development activities.
